GRAIN ROT weapons and items database

A confirmed pre-release GRAIN ROT database for vessels, Spark abilities, salvage, items, treasures and machines without invented weapon names or drop locations.

Quick Answer

GRAIN ROT officially confirms ability-bearing vessels, Spark abilities, furniture salvage, treasures, items, Legendary Gachas and an enchantment and repair machine. It does not publish a complete weapon roster, item names, stats or drop locations before launch.

A confirmed database, not an invented loot wiki

GRAIN ROT launches on August 7, 2026. Before release, official material describes broad equipment and salvage systems but does not publish a normal weapon spreadsheet. This page records the categories that are real, separates the former demo from the announced 1.0 build, and leaves item names, numbers and drop locations blank when the developer has not supplied them.

Calling this a “weapons and items database” helps players find the system, but it does not justify making up swords, guns, damage types or rarity colors. The game’s most important combat container may be the vessel itself: when a wooden body breaks, the Living Spark remains in the run and searches for another host with a new set of abilities.

Vessels are the verified ability carriers

The official store describes the player as a Living Spark inside a fragile wooden vessel. When the vessel breaks, the Spark escapes rather than immediately ending the run. It can guide the team, search for another host and force its way into a vessel with a new set of abilities before fading.

That confirms ability variation between hosts. It does not confirm a fixed “weapon per vessel” table, an inventory slot layout or whether every vessel can appear on every layer. A release database should record the exact vessel name and ability text from the live build before assigning a role such as tank, ranged or support.

Salvage, resources and the Grinder

Furniture is not just decoration. Official copy says crews can rip it from the ruins, smash it for resources, use interactive pieces in tactical carpentry, or feed salvage into the Grinder for gold. The deeper extraction loop turns those resources into Outpost rebuilding and persistent upgrades.

No cited official source provides a value table. Therefore “best furniture per slot,” Grinder conversion rates, carry weight and recipe costs remain unknown. If the full build displays those numbers, record the build and difficulty because the launch post also promises difficulty balancing.

Announced 1.0 loot systems

The July launch post names many new items, Legendary Gachas, Spark Abilities, many new hats, an enchantment and repair machine, more Outpost constructs, and the ability to extract treasures, items and vessels in the elevator. These are confirmed launch targets but not complete databases.

Do not infer that “Gacha” means paid currency or real-money loot boxes; the official post does not say that. Do not infer enchantment tiers, repair durability or legendary odds. Those fields require the live interface and terms.

Loss and extraction boundary

The store states that when the whole team breaks, the run’s loot is lost. It also states that hauled loot rebuilds the Outpost. The 1.0 list expands extraction to treasures, items and vessels. It does not explain whether every equipped object is lost, whether a Spark retains anything, or what elevator capacity applies.

A post-launch item record should include: displayed name, category, tooltip, source layer or encounter, extraction requirement, loss condition, Outpost use and tested build. Until then, use the Outpost guide for persistent progression and the mission and event list for the activities that may produce loot.

Frequently asked questions

Does GRAIN ROT have a confirmed weapon list?
No complete official weapon roster is published. Official text confirms vessels with different abilities, new items and Spark abilities, but not individual weapon names, damage values or rarities.
What happens to furniture found in the ruins?
Official store text says furniture can be smashed for resources or fed into the Grinder for gold. It can also support tactical carpentry, but exact values and recipes are unknown.
Can items and vessels be extracted?
The launch post explicitly lists extracting treasures, items and vessels in the elevator as a 1.0 feature. Capacity, restrictions and loss rules for each category are not detailed.
What are Legendary Gachas?
They are named in the official launch feature list, but their currency, contents, odds and unlock condition are not published. This database does not infer them.
